Tequila Carajillo
Featuring Pour Richard's 18 Cannons™ Amaro and Spirit of 1737® Fiesta coffee liqueur. This Tequila Carajillo can be described as a hybrid of an espresso martini and a traditional Mexican carajillo. The tequila overcomes the sweetness from the traditional recipe and yields a balanced cocktail.
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz tequila (preferably reposado)
- .5 oz simple syrup (turbinado syrup best)
- .5 oz 18 Cannons™ Saha
- 1 oz Spirit of 1737® Fiesta coffee liqueur
- 1 oz fresh espresso (room temp)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker
- Add ice halfway of tin
- Shake hard 25 seconds
- Double strain into a martini glass
- Topped off with grated nutmeg and three espresso beans
